Title: Housekeeper
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day
Wage: $15.75 hourly, 30-35 Hours per week, Gratuities, Other Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: December 1
Education: Not required
Experience: Experience an asset but we can provide a training
Work Setting: Hotel, Motel, Resort, Apartment/condominium complex
Specific Skills: Sweep, mop and wash floors, Dust furniture, Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, Make beds and change sheets, Distribute clean towels and toiletries, Stock linen closet, Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances, Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Handle and report lost and found items, Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, Provide basic information on facilities, Handle complaints, Pick up debris and empty trash containers, Wash windows, walls and ceilings, Clean changing rooms and showers.
Transportation/Travel Information/ Housing:
Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available. Once a week grocery bus.
Staff accommodation is available.
